This young girl was hit by pellets during 2016 uprising in southern Kashmir’s Rohmoo village. She is an orphan as her father, Shakoor Ahmad, was killed in Mohanviji village in Pulwama district few years ago in a cross fire.

Since his father’s killing, she was abandoned by his paternal family along with her younger sister. Now her maternal parents, who are themselves old and hardly able to make their both ends meet, are taking care of them.

But how long will these old grandparents will take care of these girls. Its just a humble request to the common people as well as the Govt.Of J&K if they can contribute to this family for their living.
